The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Brand Communications Manager in implementing an industry-leading and commercial social media strategy that positions the business clearly and positively against the competition, generatesinbound traffic to the website and creates customer engagement to encourage loyalty and recommendation.

This position is remotely based, although if you prefer to work on a hybrid basis they can also accommodate this, as part of the wider marketing team do work in the office throughout the week.

**Description**

As the social media specialist you will be responsible for:

- Assisting the Social Media Manager in delivering the social media strategy in line with business goals and brand position
- Deliver online social media campaigns that will drive buzz, interest and positive coverage
- Develop, write and edit engaging posts for the mix of social media channels
- Be responsible for the day-to-day social media activities including online advocacy, writing editorial content, community outreach, promotions etc.
- Attend and cover events across the country including live coverage on the social media channels.
- Identify, locate and engage with advocates and influencers within social communities to build relationships.
- Monitor, analyse, review and report on effectiveness of social media campaigns and social media activity
- Regularly feed back into the business insights gained from social media to help drive business decisions in a timely fashion.
- Work closely with stakeholders around across the business to ensure a stream of stories and accurate representation online
- Answer media enquiries on and offline

**Profile**
- Experience of managing social media channels within a commercial environment
- Expert in organic social media
- Demonstrable success in developing compelling social media campaigns
- Expertise in using analytic tools and developing meaningful measurement reports, analysis and actionable recommendations
- Basic level of HTML (basic formatting, inserting images, embedding videos)
- Expertise in publishing content via social media platform tools (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram)
- Fluency in social media and online PR tactics and techniques including blogger relations, community management, digital content, seeding, social media events etc.
- Excellent writing and communication skills

**Job Offer**

Basic salary of £28,000.
