Assistant Psychologist

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding psychologies workforce in Swansea Bay CAMHS service. The successful postholder, under the guidance of our practitioner psychologists and in conjunction with team leads, will support the implementation of outcome measures across the CAMHS service in line with theWelsh Government Mental Health Core Data Set and Improvement Cymru Strategy.

Supporting the development of an optimal environment to embed outcome measure tools; contributing to workforce development to ensure that our teams are trained and confident in the use of outcome measure tools and resources; assuring effective data collection systems and feedback to monitor progress.

Contributing to the development of the service and the delivery of psychological services in Swansea Bay CAMHS.

You will join an established multi disciplinary team and CAMHS service that prides itself on innovation and improvement. You will be a member of the psychological therapies team who include: Art psychotherapy; Clinical Psychology; Counselling psychology, Family & Systemic Psychotherapy and Play Therapy. We seek to offer child and family centred, effective, evidence based, assessment and psychological interventions. Our goal is for Swansea Bay CAMHS be to be a great place to receive a service as well as a great place to come to work and where we each feel valued, appreciated and able to make an effective contribution.
