Our two-form entry partner school in Salford are looking for a Proficient Primary teacher to provide Part time PPA cover and Intervention support. The Headteacher would like a member of staff who is able to maintain the school's high expectations of pupiloutcomes. You will be required to work with a variety of classes providing intervention support to pupils who need help bridging knowledge gaps that have developed during the pandemic. You will be required 2/3 days per week until the end of the academic year.

The school have recently been rated GOOD by Ofsted. The children at this school are enthusiastic and enjoy learning. However, there are some couple of children with more complex behavioural needs due to the disruptions to learning over the last couple years.This means, that whilst you would be teaching the full National Curriculum, as a an Intervention teacher you must be aware of some potential disruption. Therefore, any experience of challenging behaviour is preferable.

As the Intervention support teacher, you will work closely with the class teachers to ensure the group interventions correspond with in-class learning and provide the children with opportunities to make the best possible progress.

- Qualified Teacher Status
- Excellent organisational skills
- A commitment to child development and learning
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- The right to work in the U.K
