Industrial Caretaker

Transvac are world leaders in providing custom designed Ejector systems for the process industries. Having supplied thousands of Ejectors, Transvac have over 50 years’ experience, backed by a comprehensive list of world-wide references in a wide range of process industries - including oil & gas, water, chemical, nuclear, food and pharmaceuticals.

Our busy workshop team needs a Caretaker / Cleaner to carry out a variety of key tasks and report to the Works Manager.

**Responsibilities and requirements**:

- Clean the factory to a high standard, including the machinery
- Cleaning the windows to the main offices
- Maintaining the surrounding garden areas
- General building maintenance such as light fittings, minor repairs etc
- Removing waste from the factory
- Hold a Fork Lift Truck Licence preferable as it will be required for some aspects of the role
- Previous experience of cleaning and caretaking essential (ideally within an industrial role)
- Must have a pro-active and conscientious attitude to the role
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence

The working hours are 06:55 - 15:25 Monday to Thursday and 06:55 - 12:55 on Fridays (38 Hours per week)

If overtime is required, it is paid at the following rates:

- Hourly Rate + 1/2 for Monday to Saturday
- Hourly Rate x 2 for Sunday

This position is permanent following a successful 6 month probationary period.
