**Overview**:
Rate of pay £11.44

Hours of work 9.30-2.30. 25 hours a week

All year round, permanent role.

Term Time Only will not be considered.

Holiday entitlement and company pension.

Roles and responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking snacks/meals for the children, meeting dietary requirements and presenting foods age-appropriately
- Required to make a 2-course lunch and AM/PM snack as well as dishwashing, general cleaning and housekeeping.
- Undertake any catering duties as requested by the manager
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, keeping our 5-star rating
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen and producing records following setting’s policies and procedures
- Stock rotation and regular feedback with the manager (stock ordering and health & safety)
- Baking weekly homemade sweet treats for desserts
- L2 Food hygiene and safety qualification is essential. Refresh training as required. Additional qualifications will be of great value to the setting e.g. Allergy Awareness, Health and Safety quals.
- Handling allergies with a serious attitude and adhering to cultural requests
- Personal qualities - friendly, polite, positive, professional and a good team player
