Within our mental health services we have wards caring for anyone requiring inpatient care, providing wonderful opportunities and facilities for patients as well as having Section 136 suites in two site across the county to provide a place of safety which the police can bring people to.

Patients admitted to the ward may be experiencing acute distress and present with a significant deterioration in mental state, risk of self-harm, self-neglect, or harm to others. we support patients that may be admitted informally or detained under a section of the mental health act. Patients may need intensive assessment and immediate intervention.

We have full time and part time band 3 Healthcare Assistant positions available. We would also be happy to consider people who are new to care to join an 8 week paid developmental programme to train as a Healthcare Assistant on the band 2 salary scale (22,383 per annum). The band would then increase to band 3 following training and completion of the relevant competencies and assessments.

**Main duties of the job**:
We aim to provide a holistic approach to recovery and rehabilitation within a safe environment. we value positive risk taking to enable clients to move forward with their lives and promote recovery. We aim to provide person-centered care in every aspect of our role and promote patient involvement in their care and treatment plans.
