Digital Content Creator

We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, self-starting individual to join our in-house marketing team as a digital content creator with a core focus of organic content creation.

The person will report directly to the group digital marketing manager and play a crucial role in increasing awareness of our businesses and brands, predominantly through organic mediums. This position is required due to growth within the group, and an increased demand for quality organic content creation across various digital platforms.

We’re a well-established, privately-owned group of companies. Our businesses operate primarily in a B2B landscape and yield a collective annual turnover exceeding £150m.

**Responsibilities**

This person will be responsible for:

- Researching and producing ideas for educational, and / or entertaining content designed to drive reach and engagement
- Managing a calendar of content for the group companies
- Creating assets for content including photographs, video and graphic designs
- Publishing content on digital platforms including social media and group company websites
- Continually optimising levels of reach and engagement on social media
- Establishing and growing key channels of organic marketing for individual group businesses
- Reporting on the success of social media channel growth and content reach and engagement
- Copywriting content for social media marketing or articles (blogs / news) to be published on group websites
- Ad-hoc general support with other groupwide marketing responsibilities

**Skills & Experience**
- Self-starting, willing and able to act on own initiative
- Proactive and positive attitude to work
- Proficient in digital design
- Confident with photography and / or videography
- Professional working experience on multiple social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.)
- Computer literate with Microsoft programs
- Previous working experience in a marketing role is advantageous, but not essential
- Excellent level of written English and copywriting

**Working hours**: 42.5 per week: 8:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.

**Location**: High Street, Halstead, Essex, CO9 2AQ (Office Based)

**Holiday**: 28 days per year incl. bank holidays and Christmas shutdown period.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
