Credit Controller

**Key accountabilities**:
**Duties**

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities
- To call a minimum of 40 customers per day.
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
- Regularly making contact with customers to ensure relevant debts are managed.
- Setting up new accounts.
- Receipting and allocating the daily banking.
- Run credit checks on new and old accounts.
- Placing accounts on stop when required.
- Ensure customer details are accurate and amend when required.
- Resolving customer queries with internal departments in a timely manner.
- Undertaking small projects.
- Meet defined department goals as advised by the line manager.
- Referring debts to our legal team once all internal chasing has been exhausted.
- Any other Ad-Hoc duties requested by the line manager.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in credit control..
- Excellent and considerate customer service to all.
- Ability to work from own initiative whilst still pro actively supporting a team effort.
- Numerate with good analytical skills.
- Approachable and reliable.
- Computer literate; knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

- There will be periodic and annual performance reviews with the line manager.
