Lakehouse in Westbury-on-Trym (Bristol), part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Casual worker to join our team. You’ll be working hard to care for, support and meet the needs of our children.

The setting has been completely refurbished. This has meant that all areas of development have been considered to forward plan. Areas have been worked hard to improve for example the layout, materials and equipment, how the environment looks, and feels and this has also helped to improve the morale of the team.

**What will you be doing**:

- Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that The Childcare Corporation values are maintained
- Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
- Supervise and support children at all times
- Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
- Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
- Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
- Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
- Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
- Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
- Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
- Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
- Take part in an exciting rebranding and play your part in development of the setting.
