**Job Summary**:
As a Fitter / Fabricator at Hogan Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of both mobile and fixed plant equipment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to support our operations and deliver the highest level of service to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment, including but not limited to crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and generators.

**Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.

**Preventive Maintenance**: Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.

**Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment performance data.

**Safety Compliance**: Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks. Identify and report safety hazards, contributing to a safe working environment.

**Equipment Optimization**: Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvement and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and reliability.

**Parts Inventory**: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts, ensuring that necessary components are readily available for maintenance and repairs.

**Training**: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, equipment technologies, and safety procedures through continuous training and development.

**Qualifications**:

- GCSE’s or equivalent. A technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mobile & Fixed Plant Technician or similar role in a relevant industry.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment schematics and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, often in challenging and outdoor environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, when necessary.
