R44 Performance is a leading automotive online parts retailer, providing a one stop shop for Styling, Performance and Accessories for German performance cars. Additionally, to our website, we have our fully operational workshop and new body shop department where we strive for the best customer service and products available.

R44 Body Shop is a specialist paint department focusing on quality and accuracy. Our body shop mainly focuses on clear lacquer of carbon fibre parts, repair of damaged finishes on body styling parts and individual paint touches on body styling parts.

Scope of the role

We are currently looking for a full-time Paint Shop sprayer to lead all operations within the R44 body shop. Our team is built of hard-working team players that will always go the extra mile for every customer and colleague.

What is the R44 body shop? We are a high end specialist body shop that specialises in spraying carbon fibre, painting bespoke trims in exclusive colours and at times spraying pannels. We run our bodyshop to a very high standard of housekeeping and quality of finished product.

We will have a custom painting service for customers to choose custom colours to have painted on parts, such as a body-coloured engine cover.
- Highest level of attention to detail
- Very high quality of workmanship
- Experience painting Carbon Fibre is preferred
- Experience mixing paint and purchasing supplies
- Previous experience within a Body shop Supervisory would be preferred
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful and mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Communicate to people with various levels of knowledge face to face, over the telephone and in writing.
- Strategic planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving at any level

**Duties Include**
- Responsible for daily time management of the R44 Workshop
- Manage and maintain all Bodyshop equipment and supplies
- Working cost effectively with supplies and paint runs
- Maintain an effective working relationship with suppliers, including excellent negotiating skills
- Manage high standards of housekeeping within the body shop
- Working with sales team and factory to plan workload and timescales for each product
- Painting some of the highest quality products with custom colour touches will require patience and attention
- Maintain health and safety standards for Bodyshop operations, storage of chemicals and working standards

Lead education on best working practices, always using the best quality supplies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
