We are looking for an experienced Administrator to undertake a short-term temporary assignment, working for a fantastic organisation, with an outstanding reputation for world-class research, based in Cambridge City Centre. As part of the Teaching and Learning Team, you will be responsible for providing support to the faculty’s undergraduate activities with a specific focus on leading the administration for the Examination Board.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate strong administration skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines with a positive approach.

**Principle Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Chairman of the Board in submission of examination papers
- and interact with the Student Registry for the publication of examination results
- Arrange meetings, draft agendas, take minutes and circulate papers
- Liaise with External Examiners and book accommodation for visits
- Receive and record projects from undergraduates, produce individual student transcripts, collect exam papers, send out mark books of examination results and transcripts to College Senior Tutors
- Assist Deputy Faculty Manager in supporting Directors of Studies (DoS) by updating lists
- Act as Secretary to the DoS Committee
- Assist with the organisation of Open Days (on-line/in person) and support the Deputy Faculty Manager with circulating papers/uploading materials and drafting minutes for various committees
- Cover for undergraduate administration colleagues and Reception in cases of sickness or leave
- Provide support for the Faculty’s Seminar Series

- Educated to an A level standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of practical experience
- Previous administrative experience
- Experience of providing accurate, responsive and timely administrative service customer-orientated experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both internal and external
- Ability to work flexibly and to have adaptable attitude to work, particularly in relation to meeting the needs of the examination processes and be supportive of team colleagues
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy
- Ability to work to deadlines, sometimes under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to use their own initiative and an ability to prioritise own workload as not continuously supervised
- Competent in standard software packages including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook
