Bennett and Game have the pleasure of representing a forward thinking Architectural Practice in Wanstead, North East London, who have recently started searching for a creative, enthusiastic Associate Architect to join their ever-growing team. This is anexciting opportunity for an Associate Architect joining a practice with an exciting year ahead in terms of development.

Our client have high expectations of their new recruits, therefore the successful Associate Architect is most likely to display eagerness and enthusiasm for the new opportunity; interest in the practice and their ethos including the type of projects they'dbe working on; a willingness to learn and take on information when needed. The successful Associate Architect will take responsibility for leading a project team and must be comfortable representing the practice at client, contractor, and consultant meetingsand take on a key role in the delivery of successful schemes. Our client work on a variety of high-end residential development that range from one off, bespoke projects to medium scale new builds.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Architect with a minimum of 3 years' practical experience post part III to join an ambitious, rapidly developing practice in Wanstead. They have a strong ethos and are passionate for creating exciting designsolutions for their many clients in London, Essex and the surrounding areas.

**Associate ArchitectPosition Overview**
- Take responsibility in running a team
- Liaise with clients / contractors
- Work alongside developers
- Work independently as well as in a team at times
- Attend Site Visits
- Develop new business and build rapport with clients
- Develop project briefs
- Work from inception to completion
- Produce high quality design for a range of exciting projects in a variety of sectors
- Meet with professionals / clients to agree a project brief
- Run single large or multiple small projects on a day to day basis and organise, direct and monitor the project team
- Demonstrate a passion and or desire to excel and to bring that enthusiasm into the office environment
- Guide and mentor team members

**Associate ArchitectPosition Requirements**
- Living within a commutable distance of Wanstead, London
- Knowledge of Vectorworks advantageous
- Business development skills
- Experienced Project runner
- Able to manage a design team
- Minimum 3 years UK based practical experience post Part III
- Strong design, presentational and report writing skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good client facing skills
