Trainee Sports Tutor

Teachsport Bromley are looking for enthuiastic individuals to start their jouney in becoming a Primary School Sports Tutor. We will provide you with expert training from our highly experienced staff to work with you on a daily basis to provide you with all the skills and knowledge to work in Primary Schools delivering PE lessons & Extra Curricular Clubs.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about Sport and would like a career working in the education industry acting as a role model for the younger generation. You would be polite and approachable, with a positive attitude towards learning.

Teachsport are passionate about delivering high quality Primary School PE for children and believe every child should have the opporunity to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle. Outside of the school term we run physical activity camps for children welcoming hundreds of children through our multiple venues.

HOW THE TRAINING WILL WORK
- PLAN OBSERVE ASSESS DEVELOP EMPLOYMENT

TERM 1
- Full company induction and role overview
- Personal Development Plan discussed and agreed
- Shadowing our full-time PE tutors (4 days a week)
- Lesson planning and observations
- Assessment and future development plan discussed and agreed

TERM 2
- Shadowing our full-time PE tutors, with some unassisted sessions
- Ofsted focussed lesson observations

TERM 3
- Personal Development Plan revisited and assessed
- Supported curriculum teaching and unassisted extra-curricular sessions
- Planning for future training and employment

ESSENTIAL
- Passion for sports.
- Experience working with children in some capcity.
- Can work in a team.
- Good at building relationships.

DESIRABLE:

- Working towards a Level 1 or Level 2 coaching certificate.
- Experience working with children in a school setting.
- Driving licence and own car.
- DBS Certificate

**Salary**: £400.00-£600.00 per month
