We’re hiring for an experienced **CNC Miller** working night shifts to join a busy manufacturing company based in **Gloucester. **You will be responsible for setting and operating the CNC machining centres and editing programs.

**What’s on offer?**
- £35,000 - £38,000 per annum + overtime
- Mon - Thurs 10:00pm - 6:00aM/Friday 5:00pm - 10:30pm (38 hours)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Training will be provided

**What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?**
- Ensuring documentation is completed fully and accurately when performing any duties on the shop floor
- Carrying out quality checks on products and recording the information accurately
- Making suggestions on how to improve the processes in relation to production quality or manufacturing time
- Meeting production and quality criteria on a daily basis
- Assisting in training and mentoring new operatives and apprentices in that cell
- Carrying out additional reasonable duties as required by business needs
- Raising any performance or H&S issues immediately with the shift leader or supervisor
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are followed
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards in any area you operate

**What do you need35?**
- Knowledge of setting and operating 4 and 5 axis trunnions will be highly advantageous as will setting and operating CNC routers
- To be able to demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience in setting and operating CNC machining centres in a fast-paced production environment
- You will be responsible for setting and operating machines based on standard setting sheets linked to each job and ensuring all parts conform to drawing and instructions
- Knowledge of machining composite materials would be advantageous
- To be confident in the use of standard hand-held inspection equipment with knowledge of CMM and Shadowgraph would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a target driven production environment
- Good communication and organisation skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

- Night shift
