Job Introduction
An opportunity is available for a Storekeeper based at our Huthwaite depot.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a safe and efficient materials handling service whilst at all times adhering to the relevant Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.
If you are offered a position, you will be required to successfully complete a basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.

Main Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be required to provide a safe and efficient materials handling service whilst at all times adhering to the relevant Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.
Your main duties will include:
- Providing an effective materials selection and goods receiving service
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well organised working environment
- Ensuring the security of stock
- Carrying out regular stock checks
- Contributing towards the overall productivity and efficiency of the Stores Team
- Undertaking and completing tasks with the minimum supervision to quality, time and cost targets
- Liaising with the Stores Team Leader and Senior Storekeepers to provide the necessary quality of service in order to meet customer and Company requirements
Possession of a valid driving licence is essential. There will be a requirement to be trained in the use of Fork Lift Trucks (if not already held) as well as other material handling equipment.
