Nursery Cleaner

We are seeking a cleaner to join our day nursery to help maintain high levels of cleanliness and presentation after long and messy days of fun

The nursery cleaner will be required to work between the hours of 4.30pm and 8.30pm Monday to Friday, or later if needed (for example 6pm to 10pm)

(This position is a lone working position and will also have key holder responsibilities)

Main Duties:

- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Empty bins and replace liners/ cleanse bins internally where needed
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines

Experience Needed:

- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies COSHH
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

Successful applicants will need to have x2 successful references in the last 5 years of employment and an enhanced DBS check for suitability of working with children
