As the Front of House Porter/ Chauffer, you the help the Nare team collectively achieve the aim of being the most comfortable country house in the country by delivering a five-star service through the entire guest journey, from the guest welcome through to their departure. To room our guests on arrival and provide information to our guests at their request on hotel and local amenities, services etc. To able to deal with enquiries at times when a receptionist is not present.
- Responsible for ensuring the reception team are informed of information relating guests.
- Responsible for welcoming guests to the Hotel in a warm and friendly manner, attend to enquiries supporting as necessary.
- Responsible for offering to park arriving and departing guest's vehicle.
- Responsible for delivering their belongings to the room.
- Responsible for guest show arounds ensuring they are able to secure the services needed.
- Responsible for maintaining the reception area.
- Responsible for liaison between departments ensuring all guest requests are handled appropriately.
- Have a good understating of rooms and layout.
- Support the wider Reservations department covering night work as require.
- Responsible for Dog Dinners, ensuring they are delivered, chasing when required.
- Assist Receptionist with guest enquiries eg. show around or guests Wi-Fi.
- Delivering newspapers on a daily basis to rooms.
- Regularly checking the outside pool area, garden, and indoor swimming pool area.
- Communication with maintenance/housekeeping team.
- Assist management in arranging and organizing special events eg Bridge.
- Assist FOH department with room service.
- Provide a door to door chauffer service to guests as required, ensuing a professional and high level service.
- Support with reporting faults on The Nare Hotel vehicles to the appropriate manager.
- Ensure the safety and standard of vehicles before departure.
- Responsible for keeping the concierge desk tidy and organised at all times
- Responsible for entering any maintenance issues to log book
- Responsible for reporting issues relevant to the department with the maintenance team as required, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction as well as a safe working environment.
- To be fully aware of Health and Safety processes and procedures.
- To complete any duties as instructed by management which is in line with the responsibilities and commensurate with the grading of this post.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £11.00-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
