**Overview**
2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for a **Inventory Controller **in Loughborough on an 18 month fixed term contract (Maternity Cover).

**Responsibilities of the Inventory Controller**
- Be the primary monitor for the shared Planning inbox - answering queries where possible and passing on all others to colleagues.
- Maintain service level for all site products at minimum cost - ensuring product arrives on time whilst maintaining stock levels.
- Place purchase orders and maintain availability for all products.
- Responsibility for stock transfers - maximise vehicle capacity.
- Maintain Inventory Parts - set up new and maintain existing.
- Sending out Daily Output report.

**Requirement of the Inventory Controller**
- Experience in a purchasing, logistics or manufacturing desirable.
- Experience in using procurement software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite desirable.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
