**JOB TITLE**:HEAD OF RETAIL

**RESPONSIBLE TO**:GENERAL SALES MANAGER

**JOB PURPOSE**:To grow through new and existing customers, steer and support customers throughout the retail market. This will include providing exceptional customer experience, development of the customer journey and to provide overall vision for the future of the Retail division.

**SALARY BAND & PACKAGE**:£35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus Scheme + Company Car

**HOURS**:Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 4pm.

**HOLIDAY**:22 days + Bank Holidays. Additional days for length of service.

**PLACE OF WORK**:K1, Pitfield, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes, MK11 3LW.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Previous experience selling to retailers.
- Driving License.
- IT literate.
- Experience with CRM systems.

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Have black book of contacts.
- Strong communicator.
- Good at presenting.
- Strong in new business.
- Experienced managing multiple accounts.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Ø To grow the division through increased key accounts, prospecting, penetration and sustained growth with existing customers and through the exploration of new routes to the market.

Ø To manage, foster and develop key accounts and prospects in order to deliver sustainable growth and an exceptional customer experience.

Ø To achieve sales targets and run rates in line with budget expectations.

Ø Ensure all daily and monthly reports are produced within the agreed deadlines, accurately and actioned within the company guidelines.

Ø Regular communication and introduction of new products and services to customers, and where appropriate, develop new products and services in line with customer requirements.

Ø Update customer and sales information on the company CRM system and grow the database through leads, prospects and other areas of growth.

Ø To record, monitor and ensure best resolution of all customer complaints relating to the retail division within agreed KPI’s with route cause solution.

Ø To foster and grow all customers through entertainment, communication and product and service development.

Ø To provide customers with clear and decisive quotes on all requested products and services.

Ø To follow up on issued quotes within KPI timelines.

Ø To keep informed of any changes and news within the retail and automotive sectors so as to provide expertise and advice to the customer base.

Ø Regular meetings, communications and call cycles to deliver exceptional customer service and update customers on any business changes.

Ø Where appropriate research and investigate new products and services to increase our range.

Ø Liaise with Purchasing and suppliers to improve services, margins and deliver differentiation.

**MANAGEMENT & TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Ø Assist in development and promote the culture of continuous improvement, thereby recommending and implementing authorised changes.

Ø To delegate tasks to the relevant team members in line with customer requirements and ensure they are completed within agreed KPI.

Ø Motivate all team members to deliver a high level of commitment to the company and its goals.

Ø Be an escalation point for customer complaints, handle complaints quickly and effectively with a root cause solution.

Ø Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.

Ø Maintain good housekeeping of the department including the equipment within it.

Ø Ensure high standards of conduct, appearance and behaviour are met at all times.

Ø Communicate effectively with all team members, colleagues and management team.

Ø Participate in the company stock takes when necessary.

In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the job holder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
