**Company Description**:AEM Products Limited is a small, high quality, sub-contract precision engineering company based in Rushden. The company provides specialist machining services to the Formula 1, motorsport automotive and marine industries. The company manufactures complex 3D machined components to customer specification in small batch quantities of between 1 and 150 off dependent on customer requirements.

**Basic Job Description**:Office based within the Programming Department, working on a PC with specialist CAM programming software to create machining strategy programs. These programs are used for the control of 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines in order to produce parts to the customer defined size and shape specification.

**Responsibilities**:

- Using CAM software to produce safe and efficient machining strategies for machining composite materials to customer supplied CAD model data and specification.
- Read, understand and be able to work from technical drawings.
- Consulting with workshop staff and quality assurance to ensure maximum efficiency whilst maintaining high quality.
- Assist sales staff in quoting on new parts by creating drawings and providing technical information relating to how the part is going to be programmed.

- AEM Products Ltd are seeking a confident, fast learner to join a growing engineering company to work alongside more experienced engineering staff.
- Previous experience of quality requirements and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerance specifications is advantageous.
- Excellent computer skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent level of concentration, be focused and be able to work as part of a team efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- An interest in motorsport and manufacturing will be advantageous.

Full training will be provided.

**Hours of Work**: Minimum 40 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday.

Hours will be increased in busier periods as work schedules require. This will be paid at an overtime rate of 1.5 times the hourly rate.

**Holiday**: 28 days paid annual leave including Bank holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
