**Contracts Manager - Insurance Reinstatement Projects**

**Home Based - Bromely, Dartford, SE London, Kent**

**£35,000 - 42,000 plus car / allowance (£5k)**

The successful Contracts Manager will be home-based ideally in the Bromley, Dartford, SE London, Kent (or close surrounding area) but working as part of a strong team (both office & field based), dealing with insurance claim reinstatement works within adesignated patch around your postcode. Ideally, this would suit a Contracts Manager who is keen to expand their skills and experience into a Subsidence speciality role over time (additional training & support will be provided).

Experience having used Symbility, Xactimate, Blueprint, Synergy or similar scoping tools/system based schedule of rates (very IT confident) is required for this role.

**Contracts Manager job role and responsibilities**
- Manage a case load of property reinstatement projects (domestic & commercial)
- Schedule repairs/redecoration works and produce scopes
- Manage contractors and repairs projects to completion (inc. cost management)
- Ensure Health & Safety / CDM compliance & carry out site audits
- Identify new contractors for addition to the network as required
- Performance manage/audit the contractors in your area

**What skills/experience will you need?**

Experience in contract managing property refurbishments / reinstatement projects is essential. Some subsidence experience/knowledge would be ideal (but not essential) as you will be dealing with the 'post subsidence stabilisation’ reinstatement works (crackrepairs/redecoration etc.)
- Ideally you will have worked for a loss adjuster, insurance company or specialist contractor - or private sector property refurbishments.
- Knowledge of the home insurance claims process, perils and cover would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of; Asbestos Handling, CDM, DPA, H&S, Party Wall Act
- Ideally; a building/technical related qualification such as an HNC or Building Surveying/Engineering Degree and/or Cert CII.
- You will need strong customer service, communication & organisational skills, be IT literate and have a full UK driving licence.
