We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our yard. The Yard Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient materials handling and shipping/receiving processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of yard personnel
- Plan and assign work tasks to ensure timely completion
- Oversee materials handling, including loading and unloading trucks
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving team to ensure accurate inventory management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Train and develop yard personnel on proper procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise workflow and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organised yard area

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
- Experience operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment
- Excellent team management and leadership skills

Must have valid forklift licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour
