The HICA Group has a new opportunity for dedicated and focused individual to join our housekeeping team at Red House based in Bridlington.

- **Pay & Hours**:_
- Rate of Pay - £11.50 per hour
- Hours of Work - 35 hours per week
- Shift Pattern - Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
- **The Role**:_
- Promote and encourage residents’ privacy and personal space using a person-centred approach.
- Using the equipment and products provided, take responsibility to ensure levels of cleanliness are maintained to the highest standards and all practical measures are taken to minimise the risk of infection. This includes general cleanliness of the service and dealing with incidents involving bodily fluids etc.
- Ensure the correct use of cleaning chemicals when required, and that they are stored safely and securely in locked cupboards after use.
- Correct use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.

Red House is a 48 bed care home which is divided into two 24 bed communities. We offer specialised dementia care and physical support to older people. Situated in the popular seaside of Bridlington we are located close to local amenities and have views of the beachfront and Flamborough Head.

The HICA Group is a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a range of care services to elderly clients and people with learning difficulties, across a range of services, including our care homes, residential settings and in the community.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.50 per hour
