Training and Education Specialist

3 Months Rolling Contract

Based in Gaydon

£33.00 per hour - Inside IR35 - Umbrella Rate

Contechs are recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in **Gaydon** who are seeking a **Training and Education Specialist ** to join their team

Position Description:

- This role sits in the Learning Academy and operates in an Agile methodology and mind-set within the REFOCUS Capability and Technical Excellence transformation team.

The Opportunity:

- Building technical learning solutions capability growth of others
- Able to identify the steps, resources and likely time required to reach a good solution.
- Knowledgeable in Learning and Development methodologies (e.g. competency frameworks, learning needs analysis, adult learning pedagogy, approaches to assessment and evaluation).
- A working knowledge of UK academic qualification levels (2 to 7)
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- To build on and complement prior learning and support a culture of continuous growth and career long learning in all its forms.
- Drive change to support our shift to an agile culture.
- Own and contribute to various aspects of the end to end journey for the creation of technical learning solutions, and development of technical skills
- Using appropriate development tools and systems to deliver effectively, track engagement and feedback.
- Maintain awareness of external development partners, their strengths and availability of existing technical skills solutions which may satisfy business requirements in part or in full.
- Create clear statements of work for items to be externally sourced and support the tender and selection process with Purchasing teams as appropriate to ensure quality, capability, capacity and value for money.

Skills Required:

- Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successful delivery with impact
- Experience of creating e-learning content using tools such as Articulate
- Experience of working with external providers to deliver technical skills/learning solutions, including writing clear statements of work, identifying and supporting the selection of potential delivery partners understanding typical cost profiles.
- Track record of developing technical skills solutions at different levels from novice through to expert.
- Experience in building business plans and contracts for technical skills / learning requirements and evaluating their effectiveness.
