We have an opportunity for a HGV DRIVER - CONTAINER SHUNTING (Class 1 / C&E) to run containers between Felixstowe docks and a warehousing & distribution facility on the outskirts of Ipswich.

Working Monday to Friday LATES, hours are 2pm to midnight. Starting salary is anticipated to be in the region of £39,000 with occasional overtime available.

The requirements of this HGV DRIVER - CONTAINER SHUNTING role are:

- LGV C&E / HGV Class 1 Licence
- Hold a driver CPC
- Previous experience of container work would be advantageous but not essential
- Cover other driving duties when docks are closed or similar

This HGV DRIVER - CONTAINER SHUNTING requirement is a PERMANENT, FULL TIME, Monday to Friday salaried position, employed directly by the company (paye) and NOT an agency or contract job.

Pay: £39,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- This job will involve you:
Approximate working hours will be 2pm to midnight, Monday to Friday.
Wages are paid monthly, paye and you will be employed directly
Primarily running containers between Felixstowe docks and our Ipswich facility.
Under certain circumstances (eg docks closed or lack of containers to collect) you will be expected to perform other driving duties.
