**About the role**:

- As a Compliance Officer you will be supporting the Group Risk and Compliance Manager with leading the group of companies (Zellis, Moorepay and Benefex) on risk analytics and compliance oversight. This includes the delivery of risk management workstreams and delivering compliance monitoring activities across a dynamic work environment.- If you have a proven track record working in a compliance role and looking to develop further then this is the right job for you.Key responsibilities include:
- Support the compliance programme by operationalising risk management information and analytics, supporting policies and procedures continually promoting same, raising awareness to stimulate positive behaviours towards risk-based decision making and making them habitual.
- Process the benchmarking and calibration of risk scoring to ensure alignment of all reported risks that flow into the forums outlined in the core frameworks.
- Support the routing of risk reporting outcomes from the Executive and Board Audit and Risk Committee to ensure appropriate flow down to the relevant stakeholders across the group.
- Maintain updates on the implementation of risk treatment plans and remedial actions to ensure timely closure and fit for purpose solutions. Utilise the outflows of risk management practices to inform the development of the compliance monitoring programme.
- Deliver compliance monitoring services to ensure adequacy of 2nd line control sampling and testing, by setting the sampling size and testing plans.
- Notifying stakeholders of control testing outcomes and working with team members to drive improvement and enforce standards of compliance.
- Support team managers with customer audit activities and coordinate outputs with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate billing, delivery on time and to high standards of performance.

**Skills and experience**:

- You will have good depth and breadth with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and appropriate qualifications to a minimum degree level in providing risk management and compliance monitoring services.
- An appreciation of the internal and external customer utilising diplomacy and being flexible in your approach to work is essential for this role.
- You will have the ability to effectively utilise the knowledge, expertise, support and collaboration of specialist stakeholders across the group to ensure the highest quality deliverables needed to support our corporate plan.
- You have amazing interpersonal skills and can demonstrate strong emotional intelligence to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
- Have strong appetite to continually improve yourself through CPD to keep pace with change and make meaningful contribution to the governance risk and compliance programme.
