Temporary Housekeeper/service

Our client, with a privately owned and operated retreat centre in France, near Bordeaux, requires a Butler/Housekeeper to start 2nd September to 9th September and maybe the week after but this is still to be confirmed.

The retreat centre consists of 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The area is large, and a lot of walking is needed.

**Duties include, but not limited to**:

- General cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms twice a week
- Setting up, and clearing up buffet breakfasts and lunches
- Serving and clearing dinner service (3 courses and plated)
- Cleaning away after guests
- Helping guest check in and bringing luggage into their rooms
- Changing towels and bed linens
- General cleaning of common areas and kitchens
- Preparing tea and coffee on occasional mornings
- Once a week (Saturdays), a full changeover and clean of the residence and change of linens with 3 other members of staff will be done
- Other ad-hoc duties such as putting out pool loungers
- Be at ease in a family environment, and have a solid background in Private Households or hotels and UHNWI
- Remain professional around the clients
- Have a family-friendly attitude and take great care in discretion

**Location**:France, Bordeaux
**Start Date**: 2nd September
**Working days**:7 days a week, 1 day off on a rota system (approximately 40 - 50 hours per week)
**Accommodation**: 1 x Large bedroom and bathroom
**Salary**: €1000 per week+ travel and accommodation
