**Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst (OPEX)**

**_Main duties:_**
- Finance:_
- _Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process_
- _Variance analysis of key financial statements_
- _Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation_
- _Look for cost-reduction opportunities_
- _OPEX analysis and business partnering with other departments_
- Reporting:_
- _Weekly, monthly and annual reporting duties_
- _Contribute towards the monthly Commercial Finance Reporting Pack (e.g. GM analysis, OPEX analysis, headcount analysis)_
- _Reporting to HQ on a timely basis_
- _Ad hoc reporting_
- Planning and analysis:_
- _Work with Sales team to manage the weekly/monthly forecast processes_
- _Work with the Sales teams to question and understand the pipeline data, supporting them in the best way to structure/report opportunities to reflect reality_
- _Managing the reporting of Sales team performance against their Sales Incentive Scheme (SIS) targets_
- _Continued development on the revenue profile of the order intake_
- _Data quality and improvement projects across the Finance group_

**Responsibilities**:
**_Experience_**
- Essential:_
- _Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or working within an FPA function_
- _Knowledge of reporting standards and management accounting techniques_
- _Exceptional in use of Excel modelling_
- _Detailed ERP system knowledge/experience - e.g. MS Dynamics AX, Oracle, SAP etc._

**_Skills:_**
- Essential:_
- _Be comfortable dealing with and working through issues and operational challenges with project teams and other stakeholders_
- _Investigating at a granular level to ensure understanding of the drivers of the business and can provide insight to the non-finance members_
- _Comfortable working outside of the Finance team across the business, dealing with individuals at all levels and disciplines_
- _Restless curiosity in what is happening within the business and how it might help our understanding_
- _Excellent written and verbal communication, with clarity and openness_
- _Capable of managing multiple demands on a varied workload, in a changing business environment_
- _Able to challenge the status quo where there is a lack of logic_

**_Qualifications:_**
- Essential:_
- _Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)_

- Assisting the Head of Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis in the day to day FP&A activities. Provide support and challenge to the Operations and Sales functions on the quality of business data, providing accurate and timely reporting and supportingthe many decisions and initiatives within these areas._
- The role will also work on supporting the teams drive for overall data quality, timely reporting, business compliance and the on-going development of new Power BI tools._
