The Governors of Gilthill Primary School (part of East Midlands Education Trust) are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and hardworking midday supervisor who will be responsible for leading children’s play during lunch break and supervising our children in the dining hall.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 12 noon to 1.15pm during term time only.

You will join our caring, hardworking team of lunchtime staff and the role will include:

- Lead and supervise safe, active games for our children
- Will be able to plan and deliver a variety of interesting activities to develop coordination, cooperation and team work
- Helping the children with their lunches and encourage good eating habits
- Making sure that the dining areas are clean and tidy
- Will be an effective team player and fully involve themselves in the life of the school
- Will treat all children with respect and positivity, building resilience and confidence
- Ensuring the good conduct, safety and welfare of all pupils throughout the lunchtime period
- Provide basic first aid (training will be given)
- Work as part of an effective lunchtime team
