**What you will be doing**:
You will partner with our CTO and CPO (Product) by providing policy support and advice across the full range of employee lifecycle process. This is a generalist role covering performance culture, talent development, engagement & reward in a dynamic start-up technology environment.

**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Work with and support the Head of People & Talent in creating and implementing any company wide People plans.
- Partners with the London client group to ensure that People practise is tailored where necessary to support the growth plans for Technology & Product groups.
- Plays a key role to ensure that any actions relating to our staff survey are scoped and delivered in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders to build on our already impressive eNPS scores
- Provides advice and guidance to managers in performance management, talent & career development and other core people management capabilities.
- Resolves queries from internal customers by providing information on HR policy and the related processes, including case management.

**Essential Criteria**:

- 5+ years professional experience, with 2+ years of experience in a start-up/software environment
- Experience of UK employment Law
- Experience in improving employment engagement working closely with people managers
- Knowledge of the HR life cycle gained in a full generalist HR role

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience coaching & training line managers
- Confident and strong minded with excellent judgement skills to know when to push back or drive
- CIPD Qualified
