**Job Title: Shop Assistant**

**Position Overview**: As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, organizing merchandise, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or answering their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Restock shelves, ensuring products are neatly arranged and properly labeled.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and customer service.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as needed.
