Glendelvine Primary School

Glendelvine Primary School is set in a scenic, rural location in Perthshire between the villages of Caputh and Spittalfield.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work as part of our very small team.

This post is 13.5 hours per week, over 5 days (not negotiable) as follows - 10.30am-1pm 4 days and 9.30am-1pm 1 day per week.

We are looking for someone to build good and trusting relationships with children and adhere to child protection and equalities legislation.

In this role you will:

- Attend to the personal needs of the children and assist in maintaining a healthy, safe and hygienic environment.
- Provide support for children with specific health or medical needs where appropriate.
- Provide first aid as required to children and staff.
- Provide comfort and care for minor accidents, ailments or upsets, cleaning the pupil of excess body fluids or waste, if necessary.

**The Individual**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient and flexible individual to join our small, happy school to supervise morning playtime, lunchtime and support the teacher in the P1-3 class.

Ideally you will have:
Experience of working with children.
Experience of working with children with additional support needs.
Previous experience of working in a primary school.
A first aid certificate.
