Part-time Bookkeeper

Violet Care is a Care agency that provides care services to vulnerable people. We are currently looking for a part time bookkeeper to join our office team. We are a trusted company with over 100 clients and fast-pace growing network.
**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive data.
Prepare and maintain payroll records on a weekly and monthly basis, including calculating wages, deductions, holiday, and sickness.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
Provide support to the accounting team as required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a regular basis.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work part-time, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Hourly Rate: (£11.50-£13.00) based one experience.
