Martin Hool Construction are currently recruiting for a **Construction Labourer** in the **Newby Bridge** area. This would be perfect for someone that likes to be outdoors and would like to gain some amazing experience in the construction industry.

We are a small construction company based in the South Lakes and have more than 20 years of direct experience in delivering excellent barn restorations, groundworks, domestic & commercial renovations and associated works - all with a smile.

We are looking for someone with a great attitude and that takes pride in their work, is **hard working, reliable, punctual, respectful & a great team player.** You must be prepared to be hands on, capable of using your own initiative with great communication skills & have the ability to work confidently & safely at heights.

**You must be able to read plans.**

**Preferably with construction plant operation skills and experience.**

Working day starts from 7am either in Newby Bridge or on site anywhere across Lake District.

Your pay rate will be negotiable dependant on skills and experience but will start at £12/hour.

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

- General Labouring
- Driving, operating large construction plant machinery if skilled
- Keeping site tidy
- Assisting trades
- Manual Handling duties
- Carrying out instructions given to you by the Site Manager
- Working from advice or drawings
- Complying with Health and Safety regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
