About The Role***

The position will be working on a FTC basis until 31st October with a view to permanent - rotating shifts Days and Nights.
- 4 Days on, 4 off, 4 nights- Days - 5.00am - 5.00pm- Nights 5.00pm - 5.00am- £11.00 per hour rising to £11.78 from the 1st April 2023We are looking for a Banksperson to assist with the safe transportation of passengers to and from the terminal and aircraft using specialist equipment and vehicles and ensure the smooth operation of airside transfers whereby passengers are assisted as per their requirements with mínimal delay.

**Main Duties**:

- Work as a team with the Driver to ensure correct and safe positioning of the vehicle onto and off of the aircraft.
- To lift passengers where required in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
- Assist with passenger’s baggage as required.
- Ensure boarding checks are completed in line with airline requirements
- Accurate recording of tasks in the Avtech system
- Ensure equipment is checked for safe usage prior to use.
- Ensure all Electric Mobility Aids (EMA) tags are completed accurately and instructions to isolate correctly are followed.
- Actively checks that all seat belts are worn by all passengers
- Ensure belts and clamps are in a usable condition and where required always used.
- Maintains the cleanliness of vehicles both inside and outside and that they are clear of rubbish
- Inform passengers in an accurate and timely manner regarding changes to flights schedules
- Carries out Customer Care Agent and Desk Host duties when required
- Competent in the use of contingency equipment such as the SMAX.
