**JOB SUMMARY**

An ideal role for a talented and ambitious individual within a dynamic, collaborative team. The scope of the role is varied and constantly evolving (the occupant will drive this change), so will suit someone who has a high level of curiosity, and strong problem-solving instincts. Full initial training will be provided, as well as ongoing learning, development and support.

There are 3 key focus areas for the role currently:
**Order management for Amazon (Home Fragrance - ongoing)**. The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for the operational running of account - including processing orders, building and maintaining reports/dashboards, validating and cleansing customer catalogues, as well as driving key improvement projects and initiatives.

**Continuous Improvement (UK_38_I Cluster - evolving).** Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Sales Operations Specialist will also work on various projects and initiatives across both the UK _38_ Ireland cluster and wider EMEA region. They will develop skills, be able to explore ideas, test hypotheses and see their changes impact our business in positive ways.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES***
- End-to-end processing of customer orders, including resolving any errors with pricing, promotional discounts, ship dates, terms, shipping requirements, stock availability etc - and updating the customer via their vendor portal.
- Proactively monitoring product availability on open sales orders, work with supply chain to understand and communicate any challenges, and improve confirmation rates.
- Working closely with IT to troubleshoot any EDI issues. No technical experience in this area is necessary, but a working knowledge of the principle of EDI would be helpful.
- Reviewing and maintaining the customer product catalogues to ensure they are ordering the correct products in the correct multiples - as well as cleansing obsolete SKUs.
- To learn, operate and then improve the various processes and tools that we use to manage the Amazon account, including the operational reporting.
- Attend customer meetings as an operational liaison, representing our brands appropriately.
- Designing, building and presenting reports _38_ dashboards from business requirements.
- Participating in and driving projects and initiatives that contribute to our business goals.
- Assimilating improvements into the daily operating rhythm, with SOPs and training.
- Assessing, prioritising and cascading requests from around the business.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS _38_ EXPERIENCE**

- The person is more important than most of the specific skills, since full training is provided.
- Self-motivation, curiosity and an ability to prioritise workload are key.
- Experience of processing orders and managing orderbooks, ideally using an EBS system (Oracle and/or SAP would be a distinct advantage).
- High levels of computer literacy - especially experience in Microsoft Excel - are essential.
- Experience with process mapping (MS Visio or similar) would be useful
- Experience with a BI package would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams would be advantageous.
- Prior knowledge of Amazon-s Vendor Central environment would be useful
