Gurt Wings is expanding and we are looking for a catering assistant to join us at our prep kitchen in Swindon and to work on our food truck as we travel in and around Wiltshire, Bristol and Somerset serving up our award winning fried chicken.

The ideal person would be someone who is driven by a passion for street food and catering in general, who has some knowledge and experience in catering but it is not essential as training can be given to the right person who is keen to learn.

The right person must have a clean full UK drivers licence.

Tuesdays you would be preparing sauces, flour mixes and spices ready for the week ahead and receiving in deliveries.

The rest of the week you would be allocated various locations between Swindon, Bristol, South Wales and the South West.

This is not a 9pm to 5pm role, you would be expected to work various days and hours across the week and weekend with different days off each week. Locations and days you would be expected to work would be sent to you via an app which would show you where you are working each week and the times you expected to work.

On top of the usual sites and locations we operate at in the summer there maybe some festivals you would be required to work at and may mean staying over for the weekend which the company would pay for.

General day to day work in the food truck would involve serving customers, taking orders, dressing orders to make them look presentable and cooking on the fryers, again no experience required as training can be given to the right person.

The job can be very fast paced and busy at times, the right person must be good with people and have good customer service skills.

There are a number of opportunities to grow within the company as we expand in the next year.

**Salary**: £19,500.00-£20,000.00 per year
