Pearson Carter are currently working alongside a Microsoft Partner company on an Infrastructure Specialist role, as they are now looking to grow out their team.

For this role, they are in search of either an Infrastructure Specialist or someone who is ready to progress from a 2nd Line IT Support background, with strong problem-solving skills. Along with someone who has Windows Server, Azure, 365, and Active Directory experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the highest technical escalation point for the Service Desk Engineers
- Resolve complex technical issues & root cause analysis
- Own the technical knowledge base, writing and reviewing knowledge articles
- Review requests for change and provide technical approval
- Implement assigned project work packages to a high standard against agreed dates
- Own the design and implementation of Service Improvement initiatives

**Experience**:

- Strong Service/Help Desk background
- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, & DHCP
- Office 365 & Azure (migration, deployment management)
- Managing wired & wireless networks, including switches, routers, firewalls (including VLANs, STP, LACP)

**Salary**:
They are offering salaries up to £43,000 along with unlimited holidays, pension schemes, training, and development courses & more.

**Location**:
Bristol/Chippenham

This opportunity would be hybrid within their Chippenham, Wiltshire office.
