**The Vacancy**

**What is the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for students studying a relevant Fashion degree to join us for a placement year. The role will be varied with the opportunity to experience a busy, growing, Buying office. The role will support the department with effective management of the department administration and gain a knowledge, understanding and first-hand experience to help put theory into practice.

Current placement opportunities will suit individuals interested in the following areas:

- Buying
- Merchandising
- Garment Technology
- Print Design

**What you will do**

Specific responsibilities will be dependent on the area and can vary. We aim to give placement students as much experience of the working environment as possible and you will get involved in varied tasks throughout the placement year as well as day to day admin duties such as:

- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments effectively
- Ensure all samples are collected, correctly presented, stored and ordered in accordance with departmental procedures, on a day-to-day basis and for all relevant meetings
- Maintain all administration documentation procedures accurately in line with Critical Path requirements
- Collate and distribute the post and parcels for the Buying team daily
- Contribute towards the input of all meeting preparation including Trade meetings & Product Sign Off
- Fulfil general ad hoc duties as required

- A proven history of taking personal responsibility & accountability for actions, constantly striving to improve and exceed expectations and ensuring safety and quality are never compromised
