As a Trainee Bid Writer, you'll be an integral part of our bid tendering process, learning the ropes of crafting persuasive and compelling bids that win us new contracts. We're seeking someone who's not just passionate about writing but also possesses a keen eye for detail and design, and a knack for presenting information in an engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in tender submissions, including pre-qualification, tenders, and approved supplier lists.
- Reviewing Invitation to Tender documents to understand contractor activities and responsibilities.
- Collaborating with senior team members during Bidder Days or conferences, contributing to the submission of high-quality bids.
- Conducting research and analysis to understand client requirements for fire protection and ventilation projects.
- Developing written content that effectively communicates our agency's value proposition and solutions.
- Assisting in reviewing and editing bid content to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Staying updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
- Contributing ideas to enhance our bid strategies and positioning.
- Supporting in the management of bid project milestones to ensure timely submissions.
- Assisting in extracting and including all key information from the Invitation to Tender documents.
- Collaborating with the management team to contribute to the business's growth.
- Undertaking any other ad hoc duties as required.

Person Specification:

- A passion for bid writing and a desire to learn and grow in the role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy in editing and proofreading.
- Willingness to learn about the HVAC and fire protection industries and associated terminologies.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards work.
- Commitment to working collaboratively within a team environment.

Package:

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
- Occasional UK travel and overnight stays may be required.

Pay: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Technical Writing: 1 year (preferred)
- Writing skills: 2 years (preferred)
