**Apprenticeship Summary**

An exciting opportunity for a future Accountant to work for a company which highly values its customers and employees, with lots of opportunities, growth and development across the business and its subsidiaries. **Tasks and Training Details**

Reporting to the Site Accountant, the Finance Apprentice will have numerous responsibilities, including;
- Purchase invoice processing
- Dealing with non-complex purchase and sales invoice queries
- Reconciling customer statements
- Posting customer receipts from the bank
- Maintaining and preparing accounting spreadsheets using Microsoft excel
- A range of general finance admin tasks where required
- Assisting the wider finance team where required
- Growing complexity of tasks and responsibilities appropriate to your level of training and development

**Required Prior Qualifications**

5 GCSE’s A*-C, or level 5-9 or equivalent, including Maths and English as essential.

**Training**

Upon successful completion, the apprentice will obtain the level 2 Accounts or Finance Apprenticeship as well as the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. Training will take place once per week at grantham College, Stonebridge Road, Grantham, NG1 9AP. Furthermore, support and training will also be provided on our bespoke, in-house systems as well as Microsoft Excel.

**Details of Working Week**

37.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 1:30pm. Structure may vary slightly dependent on course times.

**Expected Career Progression**

From Finance Apprentice to Chartered Accountant, ADS will support the right person after having completed their AAT’s on the path towards completing ACCA or CIMA should they wish to progress to this level.

**Salary**: £15,000.00 per year
