**Library Assistant**

Working part time hours (18/22 hour per week) This will include one late night per week until 8pm and alternating Saturdays working on a rota

Must have excellent customer service skills and good Listening skills. Basic computer knowledge required.

Know how to use LMS (Library Management system ) would be an advantage as-well as previous experience working in a library.

Two online tests to be taken prior to interviews (Aptitude and Alphabetical)

Duties may include:

- Customer service
- Filing
- Using computer systems to log requests
- Organising displays
- Sort and re-shelve returned books, periodicals, and other materials
- Assisting customers
- Answering the phone
- Maintenance of the Library

Location: Harold Hill/ Rainhaim/ Upminster/ Romford/ Harold Wood/ Collier Row Etc.

Pay Rate: £12.03 per hour PAYE paid weekly.

Full Enhanced DBS required if successful in post
