We are 2,800 people working within 8 bakeries, 1 flour mill, and 2 regional distribution centres across the UK. Our success is a result of the hard work of our people; they are experts in their field whether it’s baking, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or the many departments within the central functions team based in our head office in High Wycombe. **Job Title: Bakery Operative - Lighter duty roles**

**Location: Erith**

**Core responsibilities**:

- Operating the plant and process in a safe and compliant manner.
- Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
- Following instructions and procedures correctly.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in their immediate work area by adopting “Clean as You Go” philosophy.
- Supporting the delivery of the site’s KPI’s for Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
- Being accountable for the production of high quality products that are safe.

**Key skills**:

- Handling finished products, transferring into an in-feed line and removing poor quality products to waste (Muffin & Roll Packing)
- Handling packed finished products and transferring from the packing table into a basket (Muffin & Roll Packing)
- Manually move the full finished product basket and stack together at 12 baskets high (Muffin Packing)
- Accessing high level conveyors for basket release (Roll Packing)
- Transferring unwrapped finished product from baskets to boxes (ISB Packing)
- Using hand tools to tape-up the box once finished product has been transferred (ISB Packing)
- Transferring sealed and labelled box from the packing table pallets (ISB Packing)
