An exciting opportunity to join an established, fast-growing digital marketing agency. Click Intelligence specialises in SEO, PPC and Digital PR and due to multiple new SEO client wins, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced head of SEO to join and lead of growing SEO team. This can be a fully remote role or hybrid office based if you in commutable distance to Cheltenham.

As head of SEO you will be leading the SEO team and ensuing all SEO aspects of the client campaign are fulfilled including client strategy, delivery of SEO campaign, reporting and on-page implementation. Click Intelligence are rapidly growing; therefore, this position is fast paced and hands on. We are looking for an individual that is dedicated and determined in their career and who has a passion for the industry and wishes to progress quickly with a growing, innovative company.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Providing leadership for the SEO team of 4
- Conducting SEO training program for the SEO team and wider business teams
- To support business growth with clear focus on client results and retention.
- Support the sales team with technical and SEO strategy input.
- To champion continuous improvements for efficient processes and workflows
- The ownership of the SEO team and client accounts
- The head of SEO will need to be able to assist and lead client SEO campaigns which will included but not limited to:

- Conducting keyword research
- SEO auditing and technical analysis
- Conducting broad SEO analysis to define the cause and resolution of SEO issues
- Using ethical SEO knowledge and techniques to meet the organic objectives of our clients
- Working with the sales team to win new business
- Planning SEO campaigns including organising link building, research and data gathering
- Monthly strategic reporting
- Day to day account management of the top tier clients
- Providing support and assistance to SEO team members

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Strong Technical SEO knowledge
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a SEO focused role (experience in other disciplines is an excellent bonus, but SEO should make up the bulk of your experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience with HTML and CSS
- Excellent Microsoft office skills, with emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint
- Intermediate/ advanced experience working with SEO tools like Screaming Frog, AHREFS and SEMRush
- Knowledge and experience with popular content management systems and ecommerce platforms like WordPress, Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce
- Experience working with web analytics packages; Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools etc. GAIQ qualified
- A broad understanding of the wider digital marketing mix, for example PPC and social media
- Account Management experience
- Agency experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
