Located within Warwickshire’s Local Educational Authority this large independent preparatory school are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join them for the summer term. The school has both day and boarding students and as such the role is offeredover 6 days a week Monday to Saturday. The position will see the successful applicant take on the following duties:
1.Form Tutor
2. Games of Activities
3. Shared quota of duties and homework sessions
4. Once a week club offering - 5.45-6.45

You will join an English department that has a recent track record of excellent resultsin national exams and which has gone from strength to strength under the auspices of the current Head of Department.

In joining the team you will take on a teaching role with a timetable that will see you working with mainly pupils from Year 5-8 classes though you may also have some other duties. You will get a mixture of ability levels with the timetable incorporatinglessons with low ability, mid ability and gifted and talented classes. The position is offered on full time basis (6 Days a week). There may be the possibility of a permanent position or an extension to the contract at the end of the initial term.
