Do you want specialist training within welding methods and processes, allowing for you to become an expert within a niche and technical area of metallurgical engineering?
With some professional experience, you will support the development of welding metallurgy for the next generation of Automotive aluminium alloys. Shadowing a senior Metallurgist who specialises in this niche field, you will have a fantastic opportunity to gainvaluable skills, which will allow for you to develop as a Metallurgist / Engineer.

This position would suit a Metallurgist who has an interest in specialising in welding methods and processes, who is looking to become a technical expert within Automotive and Low Carbon manufacturing.
**DUTIES**:

- Shadowing senior Metallurgist, working on welding metallurgy
- Data analysis and testing of materials / alloys
- Developing welding technologies within an R&D environment
**PERSON**:

- Degree in Metallurgy or similar
- Some professional experience, or completed a relevant placement
