Womenswear Buyer

Our client is a global brand of womenswear and childrenswear. They are true lifestyle brand, built around the principles of great design and great quality, with amazing attention to detail. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Womenswear Buyer to join the team and work on an exciting, innovative, commercial collection for this Brand. You could be a Junior Buyer ready for the next step up or already a buyer looking for a new challenge with this Brand. This is an exciting time to join the Brand as it expands globally. Womenswear Buyer - The Role:

- Reviewing weekly sales, with a focus on the best and worst sellers and trade actions.
- Presents relevant information in weekly trading meetings to directors and managers.
- Presents ranges and price work in selection and sign off meetings
- Is responsible for buying allocated areas of range within defined parameters.
- Is proactive in building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, as well as driving cost price negotiations.
- Works closely with merchandisers to ensure decisions based on accurate data and with specified framework.
- Attend and conduct fit sessions with involvement in product development
- Liaises with eCommerce and Marketing teams as necessary to ensure productive relationship.
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a proficient user of Microsoft packages.

Womenswear Buyer - The Role:

- Someone who has a passion for fashion, a desire to add value to their collections
- You must have the ability to pick up new knowledge quickly and have experience in having ownership of an area.
- Fashion related degree is essential
- Experience working within womenswear fashion buying
- A minimum of 3 years previous buying experience is essential
- A creative individual with excellent organisational skills & a keen eye for design detail.
- Experience of working on multi products.
- Full driving license and own transport is essential
