A vacancy has arisen within the Audiology Service to assist in the provision of a high quality Audiology service to the hearing impaired population of North Wales served by BCU LHB. This clinical post will contribute to the smooth running of the service by assisting in aspects of hearing testing, hearing aid repairs and be responsible for general preparation of facilities and equipment. There will also be an involvement in the hearing screening of patients referred from the memory assessment service. In addition to a clinical role the post holder will also provide a range of administrative duties within the department.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals with an aptitude for and interest in technology, comfortable with using computer based systems and communicating with hearing impaired patients. The individual should have a flexible approach and be willing to be deployed in both a clinical and administrative role to meet local demands within our busy service. Training will be provided.
The position will be based in Glan Clwyd Hospital.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for these posts; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
