An exciting opportunity has arisen at Care Choices Ltd. Care Choices is a multi-media publisher, event organiser and podcast production company.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic editor to join our friendly and supportive team. You should be efficient, organised, and able to work autonomously to clear and established brand guidelines and standards.

Previous editorial experience is essential including researching, commissioning, writing, copy-editing and proofreading.

The role involves:

- Managing projects from commission to publication both for print and web.
- Editing documents for consistency, tone, and fact-checking, raising, and resolving queries.
- Proofreading.
- Signing off copy for print.
- Writing and repurposing copy for web, including SEO.
- Editing and proofreading marketing and event collateral.
- Managing relationships internally and externally.
- Attending meetings and events as required.

You should be organised, enthusiastic and able to manage your time efficiently. You should be willing to turn your hand to any projects that come in, working closely with other departments, and supporting colleagues with proofreading and copy checking as and when required.

You should be comfortable communicating at all levels and happy to organise and attend client meetings and sector events when required.

**Based in: Royston, Hertfordshire (due to our rural location you may not be able to rely on public transport, therefore you would need access to a vehicle for the commute)**
